If you, a CEO, have to outsource and pay someone 25cts/hr, you are bad at your job.
Which is why I want to regulate CEO pay to 30x the lowest salary at the company, including foreign salaries.
No more race to the bottom to help failed CEOs.

Great idea! But how about company owners/ share holders who take the net profit which in some cases is astronomically larger than full compensation packages for executives?

This is what I was thinking. Many CEO’s I know don’t even “take a salary” (they deduct every purchase as a business expense and earn money through share value which will cause them to be incentivized to increase profit through driving down wages even more).

The wider that gap the greater the exploitation and likely the more extractive the business model. It seems in Capitalism, businesses are always on a continuum in this regard and always "able" to slip toward that. The underlying model needs be different to avoid that.
