Until the #ERA is ratified, we are still not equal. Our equality is subject to interpretation by the Supreme Court. This is why true representation matters.

Okay, that's the kind of thing that bugs me. We are already equal and always have been, the male-centric language of the Constitution notwithstanding. When we behave as if those rights are something others have the power to give us, we're acknowledging their superiority.
Should have added *according to federal law. Which should not have taken 96+ years to add as an amendment. Thank you for your comment!

People have been misled to believe for literally centuries that they only have the rights they're given by those in power. It's a weapon they can use against us.

BUT doesn’t hurt to have it written into federal law given who sits on the Supreme Court and in the White House.
