As someone with multiple family members who suffer from hearing loss, I want to raise awareness around the fact that hearing aids are NOT covered by insurance or Medicare. Being able to hear is considered “elective.” 1/2

#Accessibility is central to my platform, and we need to fight for#singlepayer#MedicareForAll and no less! With full coverage of hearing aids, wheelchairs & accessories, tools to aid with visual impairment, canes, walkers, etc. I wish more reps and candidates mentioned this.Afficher cette discussion
PS my grandma misplaced her hearing aids and is looking at a $4,000 bill she cannot afford.
