When I see Christianity being used to justify hate, racism, and judgment of those experiencing poverty, homelessness, and seeking asylum, it really saddens me. My religion strengthens my fight for everyone’s equality and dignity and the decriminalization of poverty.

I couldn’t care less what religion anyone else is. But if you’re an elected who quotes the teachings of Christianity, I’m looking for you to use the teachings the way they were intended, and not for hate and bigotry.

For sure. And as you know Trump is a symptom and not the problem.
