Today, the government considers marijuana as dangerous as heroin. That’s idiotic. As president I will immediately issue an executive order to declassify marijuana as a controlled substance.

Any of us could get any of these drugs tonight if we wanted to. Decriminalizing them wouldn’t change anyone’s desire to use them. It would just ensure we prioritize care and rehabilitation rather than punishment.

I’m afraid you aren’t in reality. There are many MANY people in rehab right now that have addiction to schedule II drugs that they started after surgeries and aren’t able to quit. Or they get a taste for them after trying a couple from a friend. Be careful what you wish for.
