However legalizing cannabis needs to come hand in hand with true criminal justice reform. Release & expunge immediately, and tax revenue needs to first and foremost be used to help those who have been WRONGFULLY incarcerated. 2/2
I've heard anecdotally that it's really hard to establish yourself and get your life back whenever you come out of prison. These funds to help wrongfully imprisoned people put their life back together are definitely needed

Not to start an argument, because you’re on the right path, but I think we need to decriminalize MJ and shrooms. Legalization should be for dangerous stuff like cocaine, heroin, etc, because they require heavy regulation and treatment for addicts.
MJ has been legalized here and it rebuilt the black market. Legalization means criminalization because it involves government restrictions and taxes. Decriminalization gets the government largely out of it.
