So to be clear, the new Chair of @NYCHA is:
- receiving a $400k salary
- but will be going back & forth to Minnesota
- did not show up for a town hall
- has only visited once

Now, this is only my opinion as a simple working class man: I don't think it's right to pay someone nearly a half a million dollars a year to not work unless we're paying every American $400k/year not to work. What do you think

You’re in the wrong field if you need to be offered $400k to help people. Some children in NYCHA have alarmingly high blood lead levels, housing is dilapidated; water and sewage leaks into some apartments, the list goes on. That money should be spent to help residents.

That makes actual sense to me. Though, in this case, if someone is being paid $400k not to even show up, well, how much can they really be helping?

Zero. In fact why don’t we start over and fill this position with a current or former
