Dude I live in NYC. When I went to vote in the governor primary, they said I couldn't vote because I didn't declare a party. BULLSHIT! I declared as a Democrat to vote for Bernie back in 2016.
Always use affidavit vote when this happens and then call the BOE to confirm your vote counted after. The poll workers should also be advising about this. Everyone’s voice needs to be heard on voting day.
