As someone who has worked to build affordable housing and personally hand the keys to brand new homeowners, it hurts my heart that the largest provider of public housing in the USA, the one in my own city, is in such crisis. #humanrights #affordablehousinghttps://twitter.com/AOC/status/1148285379906330624 …

Agreed. But what do you think about further regulation? About breaking up the big banks? About drastically reducing income inequality through highly progressive wealth & income taxes. And how can we trust your interests aren’t with former colleagues and friends at these banks?
-
Don’t expect you to answer all these right now. But hope you will specifically address them in the future. I’m open to hearing what you have to say, and I’m already predisposed not to be a fan of Maloney.

Carolyn helped to deregulate with her vote for the Financial Services Modernization Act. No bank wants more regulation but that is not my concern. Financial sector is the second largest employer in my district, and I want to ensure its profit is not at the expense of taxpayers.

100% agreed there are plenty of reasons to vote against Maloney. Hope to run into you at a meeting or rally sometime and discuss further. Good luck.

Thank you for doing something in those hard sad times. You help me imagine some hopeful rays in the end of the tunnel.
