On Jan 23rd, I spoke to the UC Regents about the need for social equity at one of Southside’s only green spaces: People’s Park. Please share this video with your friends or give a like and follow. Conservatives say the Free Speech movement is dead; we’ve only just begun. Enjoy!

Climate change means unpredictable weather patterns. We must be responsible in our city planning and how we designate our public right of ways. As Mayor of Berkeley I will propose a budget that enhances public access, ADA compliance and free transportation.

community members speak out against . To be clear: No disease, disaster, or human tragedy is ever an excuse to be racist or xenophobic. It is not common or justified. It is a symptom of closed-mindedness. It is shameful perpetuates such nonsense.

We must take bold action to support each other. Create, thrive, and protect one another—our neighbors and ourselves: Loving the most marginalized, the most at risk and having the courage to fight for our common humanity every single day. I am with you.

Shame BPD for taking away public access points and criminalizing marginalized people. “BPD plans to up enforcement of existing laws against drinking, dogs, and smoking in the general area. Once that has been reestablished we can start building.“

Berkeley has limited public green space in southside. That’s why I fight so hard for People’s Park: We have a responsibility to protect students, elders, and future generations from a deteriorating ecosystem. Thats why i fight for the people. Jax and I wish you a wonderful day.✨ – at People's Park
