Like on the previous protests there were bagel and water merchants around. People were dispersing after roughly three hours. The protests will continue.

Flags of Turkey and Hungary brought as a precautionary tale.

The street in general was filled with Israeli flags.

The march merged with Kaplan street protest after about one and a half hours of marching. The first sight of the merge were Israeli and Palestinian flags of the "anti-occupation bloc".

Many were holding thick candles. It baffles how no flags or banners were set alight, at least in the vicinity, as everyone were packed rather tight. Even so, at some points, the team added even more light.

When asked re. "how it is to move from one country where you had to protest to another" I reminded that a lot needs to be demolished in Israel for Israel proper to be akin to Russia. For example this on video would be one year in prison in Russia or five yrs in prison in Belarus.

The route passed near the city government building, and after the turns had to join in to hold the front banner for a while.

The route was roughly four kilometers. It is slightly longer than the route of traditional marches from Pushkinskaya to Nemtsov Square in Moscow. Like on Nemtsov Marches found myself at the right conner of the front banner. The banner is "Save Israel's Democracy".

Here's a short thread about Feb 4 2023 pro-democracy march in Tel Aviv Jaffa and subsequent protest on Kaplan street.

The march across Tel Aviv took about two hours before ending at Kaplan street, joining with the main pro-democracy protest. Might add some comments a bit later after getting the camera to the computer.

Stumbled upon a group which is going to join the pro-democracy march when it turns from Reading to Dizengoff street which was my plan all along.
