I'm a game developer because games allow me to combine the challenges of designing systems of interactive agency with the complex, emotional ideas of our time. I also love finding my unique voice for worldbuilding as a POC artist.

I started making games in the 80s on the TRS-80 and C64. The game's I wanted didn't exist. So I made them.

Mainly, I want to tell complex stories in which the player's interactivity is the vehicle for delivery. Games are unique in how they're able to convey information and there are so many untapped avenues ripe for exploration.

Dreamed of it since I was a kid. After playing aoe 1 and 2, homeworld 1 wanted to make my own space rts. Downloaded game maker somewhere around 99-00 (was 10) and started dismantling someones example games and learning.

It seemed like a great what if and dream scenario to actually make real games someday and get money from them. But also seemed unreal and impossible. Didnt know anyone, no local gamedev industry (Im from Estonia). It kind of fell in to the background as a hobby later.
