Don't believe the "innocent altruistic nerd" - all this quadratic voting stuff is an excuse to link real world identities to the pseudonymous blockchain. Just like his ENS endorsement.https://www.saturn.network/blog/on-chain-kyc-is-coming/#quadratic_voting …

I think it's possible to come up with an identity model that (i) is not central-authority-dependent, and (ii) preserves privacy, including the ability to generate a limited number of pseudonyms at increasing cost.

quadratic moloch is here: - `quadraticMode` setting that makes tallying with quadratic formula optional (recommended tho). - `Proposal` no longer has `applicant` but an array of `candidates` - `totalVotes` and `totalQuadraticVotes` needs testing. https://github.com/DemocracyEarth/QuadraticMoloch/ … https://twitter.com/santisiri/status/1192082881146949633 …

wrote about the idea of funding goods via prediction markets and retroactive reviews in a DAO here: https://daotalk.org/t/new-dao-structure-idea-layered-dao/344 … also, identity systems are less of an emergency when starting small: a community can develop it's own low tech sybil-resistant-but-pseudonymous criteria

You can achieve simular by applying Saari’s amendment to Arrows theorem, with a contribution value derived from a descending relative weight proportional to stake. Which is the formula use is BOSCore Borda voting plan. (n+1-i)/n*stake as the f function.
