Until it falsely flags your Nvidia gpu driver (despite being unchanged for several months) as malicious and blanks the screen...

I have to agree, but what's this world coming to when MICROSOFT does something so WELL in the area of security??!?

They make up for it by silently switching your default search engine in third-party browsers to Bing. And also by releasing minimally tested updates globally.

Remember when Windows Defender was just garbage that slowed your computer down for no tangible benefit? It's genuinely awesome -- in the archaic sense -- how far they've come in only a few years.

Can also confirm, after spending most of the weekend upgrading implants to bypass the latest Defender. The little bastard is wising up to obfuscation and it catches most common UAC bypasses. Had a lot of fun with it, but I'm afraid to share tips in case MS undoes my hard work!

Defender ATP is legit. Mixed with InTune and all the policies it is hard to defeat.

Implemented as SCEP under SCCM it’s actually not bad at all. No central quarantine is annoying but not a show-stopper. Manage 10k endpoints is still pretty easy. Reports via SSRS isn’t bad either.
