The first AKS on Azure Stack HCI and Windows Server release of 2023 is now available! This release has new pre-checks before you install, improvements in Windows Admin Center flows, and we published a ton of great documentation over the winter holiday.

Another big release for AKS hybrid - go update to the November update and our last update of 2022. This release supports enabling Azure Hybrid Benefits for folks with Software Assurance, Azure RBAC in preview, k8s 1.24, and more :)

The August release of AKS on Azure Stack HCI and Windows Server is available! August includes Kubernetes 1.23 support and integrates SDN preview in the main release. Windows containers also moved to containerd <3. Check it out and send feedback.

July release bonus feature - now you can choose whether to enable or disable automatic distribution of your virtual machine data across multiple cluster shared volumes (CSVs). Also, follow Jessica, she's one of our product managers in AKS on-prem :)

The June release of AKS on Azure Stack HCI and Windows Server is available - this update has stability goodness and security updates you should definitely pick up. While out of band with the release, SDN support is also in public preview.

Check out the May release of AKS on HCI and Windows Server! We added new day-2 configurations for proxy, improved cert management, and updated a pile of underlying components. We also documented how to use AAD + k8s RBAC.
