Following our internal review of the incident in Central Park yesterday, we have made the decision to terminate the employee involved, effective immediately. We do not tolerate racism of any kind at Franklin Templeton.

This feels misplaced. I agree with you that hse has likely acted in similar ways in the past, but unless we have evidence that her employer knew about past incidents and did not act, this is entirely speculative, and in THIS case, this was a very swift, decisive response.
