I have contacted Scott about Springtrap being wanted on @DeadByBHVR - hopefully one day we get to see FNaF in this amazing game! Obviously this doesn't mean anything, but if he has seen the demand for it to happen, it's definitely something he should think about, and DBD too!
I'd be surprised if it happens. DBD has doubled down on mature horror (Jason, Freddy, Michael, Pyramid Head, etc). FNAF is horror for a younger age group. FNAF is marketed as family friendly. A DBD appearance with Springtrap hanging people on meat hooks would contradict that.
Vincent: FNAF is family friendly. FNAF: *The kid is biting by Freadbear, William Afton dies in the spring suit, the face ripped by Withered Bonnie, dead bodies in the animatronic suits, five killed children, the human is literally scooped by the machine, etc.*

Naw, being completely honest, even DD is not mature enough for DBD. It wouldn't mesh well unless the characters were made to be a lot more graphic. FNAF would likely have to do the same.
Don't get me wrong. Not saying it won't happen. Enough fan support can make literally anything happen. That's really up to you all. Just saying I'd personally be surprised if it did happen just because of the differences. I'm waiting for Candy Man to be added

If you think about it, some of the earlier Smash Bros. games, such as Brawl and Melee, were rated T, and had E rated characters such as Mario, so having a character from a franchise aimed at a younger audience in a game aimed more at an older audience isn't too much of a stretch.
It's funny that your argument against our arguments is the toys. I'm pretty sure most of those toys may not even be official. And for the ones that are. Remember, most of the games take place in a pizzaria. Where kids go, so stuff like plushies and action figures would be around
Also, were pretty sure Funko is getting their license removed because it seems they pulled their last straw with the security breach action figures.
