2/ Locking contributions were VERY top heavy, with just 25 addresses locking more than half of all ETH contributed by 2876 addresses. Although it’s hard to tell who’s who, we can guess, gleaming a little insight from their transaction histories and dates when they were sent! 
3/ There was a huge presence of Ethereum Genesis whales willing to lock up their ETH: one locked up all 102k they received from Genesis and another one (we think) locked up 140k of 200k from Genesis on Jul 30, 2015.https://etherscan.io/address/0x0c2808b951ed9e872d7b32790fcc5994ae41ffdc …
4/ Much of the locked ETH came out of Kraken via different addresses, but looking at the dates suggests as much as 189k could be from a single contributor.
5/ We suspect another top contributor had 3 addresses totaling 65k ETH. They’re a very active DeFi participant, frequently interacting with Dai and WETH! Early buyers from 2016 formed another huge cohort along with F2POOL, contributing almost 100k ETH total.
6/ 36 of the top 100 contributing addresses locked 323k ETH, a quarter of all locked up ETH, on a single day: June 15th.
