    I’ve felt this since the pandemic began that our individual-centered society in the West is why this was always going to be bad for the United States. “The community-minded and prevention-oriented attitude of Hong Kong citizens is one that Americans could benefit from.”

    My latest: I flew to Hong Kong to see my parents, and stepped off the plane into another world...
