I just received an email confirmation that it does NOW indeed take 30,000+ subscribers to get channel memberships, regardless of channel type on YouTube. Apparently, their memberships eligibility information page is outdated.

I reached out to YouTube via the support option through the website and went back and forth in e-mails. It's 30k subscribers, from what I was told 4 different times, no matter what I argued, tactfully.

Legally aren't they supposed to update changes prior to changing them... Where is what they said about memberships Prior to the 1k date... If there is prior that is... If nothing prior exists then they are holding channels back for no reason... Just get a Patreon and let people
