. just asked the Government why it was continuing to log our native forests, to which they mockingly suggested we hadn't read their forestry plan. The problem is we have, and know they aren't planning to end native forest logging until 2030(!).

  2. Gas is polluting, expensive and bad for our health. That's why today the Greens are introducing a bill that would stop new homes being forced to connect to gas & ban new gas connections from 2025.

Earlier this year the Greens secured a parliamentary inquiry into far-right extremism in Victoria. We wanted to investigate the rise of these movements & how to counter them for the safety of Victorians, especially multicultural communities. The hearings begin today.

This is well deserved. Good move by govt. hits our hospital and ambulance staff by both increasing their workload AND sending them home sick. Now for another bonus: let's hear the Vic government start talking about reducing virus transmission in the community.

The Victorian governments public sector wage cap is just - 1.5% At a time of low wage growth, rising cost-of-living, and burn out from frontline public sector workers, Labor's severe wage cap is unconscionable.

Disappointing to hear the Government is shelving these bills because it wants to avoid controversy before the election. What's controversial is delaying reforms that would help provide better lives for young people & keep kids free from prison.

The Greens want to raise the age of criminal responsibility in Victoria from 10 to 14 years because children so young shouldn’t see the inside of a courtroom let alone a prison cell. Sadly the Vic Labor government is holding up a bill containing valuable reforms. 1/3

It's Mabo Day, marking 30 years since 'terra nullius' was overturned. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
