To all FATHERS and FATHER FIGURES: I would like to thank you for the contributions you make to the lives of your children! As a daughter who lost her father due to cancer at the age of 16, I understand how tough it is not to have a father.

He just went through a pretty tough fight with stage 4 cancer in the last several months. It was not easy for him and our family, but he won this battle for now (we just had some great news on Friday that his cancer went to a complete remission!).
Life is never easy, but hardships build our resiliency and strength if we choose so. Fathers and father figures are extremely important in children’s lives to build that strength, so I send you my deepest appreciations! Happy Father’s Day!
