Get your teenagers to clean - we operated a rota system growing up to distribute daily household chores - and don’t force mostly low paid women to risk their health or even lives because that’s extremely selfish behaviour?

I think the comment is more that he has a privleige in not being expected to spend so much time on children, as he is a bachelor, and so his comment on people having free time is rude because he is blinded by his privleige as why that is not the case

You all seem to enjoy calling me childless and childfree almost as much as you do claiming that forcing low paid women to risk their lives to clean up the homes of the affluent is feminism, actually

I’m a single parent, raising my 5yo alone & working from home - I certainly don’t have more spare time. I’d still never expect somebody to risk their life to clean my house so they can feed their kids. Maybe it’s because I’ve been poor? It’s a class issue more than anything

Indeed. 3 kids at home, 2 parents working at home, no takeout, no cleaner, no child care for 7 weeks now. Ngl, it's been tough. But I'd NEVER expect someone to risk their lives to clean my house. Like WTF?? Who even thinks that's ok?? Pay yr damn cleaner to stay home FFS.
