    Man, hate hearing the news of Matt Shoemaker (or any Angels pitcher) going on DL considering how last couple of seasons have played out for several of the guys. Keeping positive thoughts that it’s a short stint & that Parker Bridwell steps up like he did last year.

    Couple of takeaways from today's performance by Shohei Ohtani...ridiculous composure w/ so much going on around him & even more so after giving up HR. Retired 14 of 15 after the jack & p/u 1st W. BTW...38 pitches of 95 mph or higher & 22 of those were 98 mph or higher.
