I'm troubled so many rape victims won't report attacks because they have no faith in the justice system. I'm passionate about ensuring victims must be believed to give them the strength to come forward. Join me on Five News at 5. @5_Newspic.twitter.com/16pgEnudwd

People like me have asked people like you for help too many times & been ignored. That’s one of the reasons. Belief is not always necessary. Some support occasionally would be nice though - when abusers are allowed to continue attacking you for reporting them why come forward?

When the CPS stops only taking on 90% + guaranteed cases to “protect public confidence” in them .... then rape victims might have the confidence in that justice system that as it stands is horrifically weighted against them.

After nearly 10 years of legal proceedings I would have to say hand on my heart the justice system is not for victims both my abusers admitted there guilt yet use there position of power and wealth to manipulate the law Rich people can abuse the poor #EndPoverty

Everyone is equal in the eyes of the law. Did you claim compensation? I imagine you did since only a police case number is required and presumably your abusers if they admitted guilt are now in prison? What more do you seek?

I really get that they don't Yrs of supporting Vs thro cjs I can't with hand on my heart, say that I would advise someone to report SA. Even with support its so traumatic. likelihood of NG if it even gets that far. Will change only when police trained & no Jury in trial for SA

You mean when police are trained to believe all? This is already the case and has resulted in thousands of innocents going to prison. Many legal teams still working pro bono to get innocents out. Why would you not want a jury? Surely you are anxious that the truth is established?

Nonsense. Police are believing of all now, which is causing a massive problem for the FA. Have you not heard of IICSA? Do you not read the papers? The subject has been relentlessly pursued particularly in the last 8yrs and you must be living in a cupboard to think any different.

Keeping the Justice system a 'safe place's for those brutalised in any way to come and 'seek justice's central to retaining civilised society. Without this brace on behaviours all is 'red in tooth and claw'. Thank you for your work on this.

Are you aware of the number of people, families and children brutalised through false allegations? Check FACT ( Falsely accused Carers and Teachers) in order to gain a perspective on this. The Victims are not only on one side here and it is wholly wrong to suppose that they are.
