If we look only at his eyes though we can see some sadness in spite of the smile. Sometimes depressed people hide their sadness behind a smile. The eyes are the gate to the soul, they always reveal the truth.

Yes. Despite the shortcut meme. Humans are complicated. So much sadness about it. But did notice way before his untimely death, and his talking about depression that the manic depression made sense since he often looked in photos like he had been crying heavily.

@alhuette48 zThat is not always the case sir! I have often suffered from depression but there are varying degrees of it! I don’t like medication but sitting and wallowing in it isn’t the answer either! So I try to keep busy!

@alhuette48 Depression, you put on a good front so nobody will guess! Speaking to professionals the first thing they ask are you suicidal? Never entertained that scenario but it is always in the background! A little to permanent to my way of thinking! -
