All the big time YouTubers (e.g. PewDiePie, Markiplier, Jacksepticeye) get millions of views, and they absolutely deserve it because they work hard and are dedicated to YouTube. But it's hard to stay dedicated to something when it's not rewarding *continued below*

Small time YouTubers just get forgotten about, and barely monetized at all. And it hurts, because they work hard too. Getting out there with your content is never easy, because the world is a harsh, critical place. You either are noticed and remembered, or noticed and forgotten.

This system is absolutely brutal to those brilliant creators out there who try their hardest to make original content - but gets no more than 100 views in a year or two. None of us can fix this, and it's depressing. Saying this won't make a difference.

And we just keep saying to ourselves "Maybe if I keep it up, I'll get more views and subscribers." But small time YouTubers don't even make into recommendations, even if it's personalized to what content you watch. This needs to be acknowledged. It's not acceptable.

Everyone's becoming unhappy with YouTube right now. That's a known fact. These changes they are making aren't beneficial in the slightest, and all pointless. Fix the sub counts. Fix the monetization program. Fix the recommendation system. Fix the copyright system.

And I've seen evidence of this too, there are so many people who get demonetized because of things that don't even make sense. Like CDawgVA: he couldn't use his outro anymore because of a copyright strike, even though the strike made no sense whatsoever, and he's lost money too.

He had the proper licensing to that outro also. It wasn't like he was using it illegally. These videos explain what he went through.

And what makes me more upset is that my own friend is going through this too.
@Jeffincats you don't deserve what's been happening to your channel. Barely any views, money, etc... I see why you would want to quit. This system is a disaster when you really think about it.Show this thread -
I'm gonna end this rant by saying that YouTube needs to get their shit together. Anyway, have a great day guys.
