As they attempted to surround the counter protestors, they shouted “you’re in Canada. Remember that,” and played the anthem over a speaker. Maybe they should have taken issue with that damn American hat.

I went with my "Climate Change Denial = Mass Murder" sign to challenge their position on the carbon tax. The rebuttals I got involved asking about my position on abortion and how socialists killed many people in the Ukraine.
Totally reasonable! Haha.
One woman asked, the weather is mass murder? She listened to me talk about why the status quo is so dangerous and finally admitted if it were true she agrees with me.

For a myriad of reasons they're just awful...but besmirching the good name of the Red Ensign is the last straw :)
