an aversiveness meetup (where everyone gets together for 4 hours once a month to do the aversive things they've been putting off) but maybe it makes you more likely to put off doing aversive things as they come up in the moment

if you're normally at anxiety level 5 and doing necessary task x increases it by 5 and the max level where you can function is 9,

To tackle stressful work (writing, accounting, fraught emails), I have been known to seek out soothing music, rocking chairs, and warm blankets. No more ridiculous than life itself?

i installed a transparent text editor once so i could write emails while watching soothing long distance walking youtube videos
