i think beings consisting of multiple skeletons aren't MORE unrealistic than skeletons as long as the bones are magically connected anyway
basically, if you can make it out of the bones of real animals, it's realistic
-
-
skeletons are essentially about taking a minimalist attitude to ones surroundings and then applying it to ones own body
-
you've never read Mistborn huh
-
no. what is mistborn
-
are there minimalist skeletons in it
-
they're called mistwraiths
-
is that short for minimalistwraiths

this remindsme of a philosophical topic that is dearto my heart. namely kaijus.the ones made of bones are paradoxes bc their volume is small
-
they can hide in the sea without displacing much water. but paradoxically they are very large
-
its like how they gave dido as much land as fits in an ox hide but then she cut it up. if they had given her a small kaiju
-
kaijus are deep because at first they seem very similar to their smaller counterparts. but they are not. i will explain
-
one way to look at a lizard and godzilla is they are the same except for size. but this is the wrong perspective
-
a lizard is actually not very similar at all to a lizard sized chunk of godzilla. nor are the ohter chunks similar to air next to lizard
