    I participated with 4 other UU students last year now there’s over 15 G8 2 see that it’s caught on well Gaming helps reach a larger audience, gaming is a strong way to communicate issues. I wish all students the best of luck this year! Hope to see wonderful games coming out :D

    We also played Inside, the Shrouded Isle, Mom Hid My Game, Elegy for a Dead World, Tacoma, Thomas Was Alone, Darkest Dungeon, Soma, Journey, Undertale, Super Meat Boy, and Her Story. Good games, good games.

    A definite highlight of the evening was the group of students who were completely glued to 's weird and amazing Pony Island for hours and hours in an epic struggle with the evil-invested arcade machine.

    We all played a bunch of great card games like Coup (eternally grateful for the recommendation !), Skull, Monopoly Deal and The Mind. Simple games leading to complex interactions and tricky social psychology are my favorite.

    Had a wonderful night playing games with our great sustainability game students at my place. Card games, board games, digital games, all offering inspiration for the week's game jam. A house full of shouts and laughter, food and drinks. This job, sometimes! <3

    Games about future roles of science in society - curious to see what emerges!

    Next theme - The Future Roles of Science in Society - Client - The ethics Institute for the University of Utretcht. Basically, this is the group making games combatting lack of faith in science. Games combatting Antivaxxers, flat earthers, fake news shouters.

    By creating games with more diverse futures, the hope is to get players subtly imagining more possible futures, and seeing how the world maybe could be. Present worlds where things could be different.
