Iceland has an interesting law. Women sex workers face no criminal charges. Men do. CA took it a step further - in the wrong direction. Not only would decriminalizing and destigmatizing sex work make it safer for people working in the sex trades, it would also make it easier for people to transition out of doing sex work if they want to.

That’s the Swedish model of client criminalization, we have it in Ireland. As cops are clients they focus on the workers evicting, jailing and deporting us. In June last year 2 women, one pregnant, were sentenced to 9 months in prison just for working together.
