Could you just use a recording software like obs or just the windows 10 one? Would it lag too much?
Does anyone know if it's possible to stream and record gameplay at the same time but without the stream elements (webcam, alerts, overlay etc?) showing in the recording? I tried searching online, but I only found results for an elgato and I use a razer ripsaw.

The problem here is that OBS can only record/stream one scene at a time. What I'm trying to do is figure out how to record only the gameplay and game audio while streaming with my usual assets and audio at the same time

I'm not 100% sure about this but you should be able to record with the Ripsaw program and stream with OBS at the same time. Just open up the program and hit record on it before you start streaming. However, you'll need a REALLY good computer to do that idk what specs you have.

Oh I wasn't aware of the ripsaw having its own recording function. I could try that when I get home later, that or I could try using shadowplay and see if that works.
