I played on for glory for 30 minutes just to see if the lan adapter I got is working properly and it somehow made my wifi even worse. I'm genuinely confused as of why.

Did you go into the internet settings to add the wired connection?
Ohhhh I didn't know I had to do that. I'll try that rn to see if that fixes it

Yeah, delete the wireless connection and add the wired connection to be safe.
