The GP local last April was only my second ever tournament, and I didn’t make any friends at my first one. You went up to me and we’re able to start a conversation with me, asking me who I main and then following up with my love for the character. You kept talking with me (1/?)

throughout the tournament, asking how I was doing both in bracket and in general, you kept seeing how I was doing. And even when we ended up playing against each other and you knocked me out, I was still ecstatic about it, and I even had the courage to ask to swap FC codes (2/?)

relatively small amount of time we’ve been friends and already has so many fun and hilarious moments to look back at makes me smile. I think I’ve told you this before but I’ve always had a struggle with making friends since the start of HS, since I’d always was shut out (5/?)

by people I tried talking to. This was especially prevalent this past Fall where I felt shut out from everyone at my school and had no place, but you, along with Diamond Alex and others always helped lift me up when we talked, even if it was for a short bit. (6/?)
