I really wish people didn't just randomly come into my chat asking me why I don't have a lot of viewers whenever I stream. It's really rude to say stuff like that especially when I try so hard to make entertaining content.
Honestly I wish I could answer that though. Obviously a big following on YT =/= a big following on Twitch, but I can't lie it sucks to get only 10-20 viewers despite how much I've grown on other platforms. Plus I'm get easily demotivated enough as is so this really doesn't help.
Some people just don't give what they say enough thought, don't let it get to ya, you've accomplished a lot regardless

There's also the fact that for a lot of streamers on Twitch, 20-40 viewers IS a lot.
Especially regularly.
Views don't always matter Its about creating a community sharing your content with people who enjoy it, and as long as they do, even if its just a few people, is still very worth it!
It always sucks when you're in that slump. But, what matters is building a community. Yes, imma be real with you. Views do matter. But, please don't let that demotivate you! Keep doing you man. Hopefully, things get better, and we will be by your side.
Most streamers I watch do have small followings, for one of them 40 is an all time high. But they don’t let view counts get to them. As long as they and their viewers enjoy the content they’re making, everyone’s happy :)

dude I just hit 10 followers and it feels like a milestone, I've always thought that was a lot for viewership to be honest. I guess perspective is everything
