      YouTube is far more toxic and mean compared to Twitch chat, but I'll deal with that instead of being in a constant state of tedium. I'll start putting this into effect sometime soon.

      Just the fact that there's a younger audience on YouTube who constantly spam, self promote, and are generally really mean to people. It could go the other way if I had an older audience but I'm a smashtuber so that isn't happening 😔

      A few youtubers I know debunked that for me so that isn't really something to worry about. I'd only stream 3-4 times a week on yt just to be safe though.

      That's really determined by your audience and run time and not the platform. You can stream for hours every day, but it won't amount to much if you don't have a lot of people watching. YouTube does have a more generous split when it comes to donations/memberships so that's nice.

      Pretty much. I'm not worried about anything financially, but it is reassuring to see YouTube have those benefits. I really only want to make this change so that I can actually interact with a majority of my audience and have fun streaming again.
