I think I'm going to commit to streaming on YouTube for now on. I'm honestly never going to go anywhere on Twitch and most of my yt subs refuse to watch me on any other platform so I'm going to adapt rather than blame myself for low view counts for once.
That's really determined by your audience and run time and not the platform. You can stream for hours every day, but it won't amount to much if you don't have a lot of people watching. YouTube does have a more generous split when it comes to donations/memberships so that's nice.

Ah damn so the subs you'd be missing out on twitch kinda balance out in the long run.

Pretty much. I'm not worried about anything financially, but it is reassuring to see YouTube have those benefits. I really only want to make this change so that I can actually interact with a majority of my audience and have fun streaming again.
