To all the SmashTubers: PLEASE put your face on camera in your videos. Even if it's at the beginning just for 5 seconds. It's difficult to grow your brand if people don't know what you look like. You could get 100K+ subscribers but pigeonhole yourself in the process and fail.

I do agree with the fact that showing who you are and how you physically emote can make for a better connection with your audience, but depending on the video or channel itself adding a facecam might not add anything of substance to the content itself.

Ahh ok that's honestly not a bad idea. I honestly like using facecam for streams and such, but I've always felt like it would overstay its welcome in a video since most of mine are based around commentary and gameplay.

Yeah I agree with you the length and comedy of the intro was a nice segway into the video. I think I'll try something like this in my future videos, thanks GimR
