I don’t think there is much hope of becoming a partnered twitch streamer thru smash unless you’re already top-level player or become one. The majority of the Twitch smash community care for top level play > anything else.
That's certainly the case unfortunately. It's extremely difficult to try and branch out too if you're already well known for just smash since most of your current following generally only want to see you for smash.

This is why is v important that you don’t become dependent on smash unless you are happy with a smaller community (which is awesome) and knowing that other games won’t bring you as many people.

Preaching to the choir. Branding and establishing yourself as a gaming content creator in that way is one of the only ways to get anywhere with it due to oversaturation, but it's also dangerous because as soon as you want to do something else? Wave goodbye to your viewership.
