Just wanting to add on a bit here, I don't think Kanto will be the only region in the game. Imagine how much of an opportunity Nintendo would've missed out on if they only stuck to Kanto. Maybe they'll do something similar to HeartGold/SoulSilver by having 2 regions to explore.
We can only hope, or at least have the sevii islands and a huge after game aside from it
I'm assuming that kind of scale is going to be something in the main 2019 game and maybe not so much this one but I could be super wrong
