Just wanting to add on a bit here, I don't think Kanto will be the only region in the game. Imagine how much of an opportunity Nintendo would've missed out on if they only stuck to Kanto. Maybe they'll do something similar to HeartGold/SoulSilver by having 2 regions to explore.
