Those same pregnant workers who are paid a minimum wage below the poverty level, who have no paid maternity leave and no healthcare, bc Republicans don't really care. These political pittances are just crumbs to keep the peons sated while the GOP bends over for the superwealthy.
Just voted for the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act to promote women's health in the workplace. The bill allows pregnant workers to request reasonable accommodations to ensure their safety, such as personal protective equipment and telework.
