I agree that the statue has no relevenace to our area. It’s not even original art and is embarrassing to our art scene. Plus the whole rapey vibe

Nothing says progressive modern city that will attract businesses and vital newcomers like a monument to both the end of a war from 75 years ago, especially given that we've been at war almost continuously since then, AND an nonconsensual sexual assault from last century. Cool.

As a survivor of sexual violence I find this art unappealing and out of place any where. Being in a focal point of the city is is particularly inappropriate.
