This is a perverse recursion of the 2016 logic. Difference being that Trump was possibly the only candidate who could've beat Clinton in a bland election--whereas now Trump might be the only candidate a moribund Biden could defeat in an election rendered bland by stale Trump

It's almost impossible to find a joke that doesn't write itself. The only question now is if it's worth the risk to boost Trump's primary campaign in the hope that he's the most easily defeatable candidate, or would otherwise sabotage the Republican primary winner
