OKAY IN CONTEXT it was about how, like, they take applications for positions they aren’t hiring for or don’t know they’re hiring for. like, sometimes they take applications and hire for jobs they didn’t even know they wanted/needed to fill.

hmm.... Seems kinda normal to me, if they get initiative applications from interesting people and think they can bring value to the company they can be hired of course?
