Totally fine to play around meta one tricks, but oh darnit if you had to play around an off-meta one trick lets just report them for poor teamwork or greifing. I rather not be banned but since I knew it would happen I might as well have a lil bit of fun with it. Sym main since s1

The difference is you DON'T have to fashion a team around meta one-tricks because they are meta for a reason- they are versatile. I love off-meta heroes, but if you don't switch off when you are CLEARLY getting shit on- you specifically- you deserve to get banned dude.

Everybody gets shit on at some point, doesn't matter what hero is picked. Banning someone for playing a hero is totally unacceptable. ;)

Nobody gets banned for playing off-meta heroes, otherwise half the population would have been banned already. You just get banned because people report you for ruining their games, plain and simple. ;)

Fuey500 got banned for playing only torb. So whatcha talkin about? Its almost as if the reporting system can be abused and targeted towards individuals people don't like playing with. ;)

Disclaimer, I love Fuey. And I think the response many people have to one-tricks- throwing, toxicity- is entirely unjustifiable. But it doesn't mean you aren't having an adverse effect on games. There's a reason they don't like playing with you.

Nothing wrong with playing one hero 90 or 95% of the time- be the Symmetra guy, be the Torb guy, be the Doomfist guy. But when all odds are stacked against your hero and you don't switch, it's a really bad look. Your inaction toward winning can be seen as acting toward losing.

Countering me doesn't mean I will automatically lose. Its more complicated than that.

No, but it automatically puts you and your team at a significant disadvantage, and since you won't swap, you will never counteract that disadvantage. Not to mention, Symmetra is specifically easy to counter

Does it really though? I've switched off Symmetra a ton of times and still lost games thats why my other hero winrates aren't good, I don't swap to them when i'm winning.

That reply makes no sense. Swapping doesnt guarantee you winning???

Exactly, and not swapping doesn't guarantee a loss. Even while being hard countered.
