      nut shell, LOTS of people with very little to no real information other than anecdotal reports from outside sources spewing doom for OWL

      Besides there is no way OW succeeds as an esport without it being enjoyable to watch. Risking a lot of money on a bad product is a bad idea.

      Overwatch is criticized (justly) for having a horrible viewer experience. OGN by far had the best viewer experience and that was still bad.

      They have spent a lot of time and resources on it and nothing so far. You can't have a billion dollar league without millions of viewers.
