I've used Total Biscuit, because he is awesome, and took 20 last indie games he has covered and random 20 he didn't.

I might be doing something wrong, but there is no correlation :( There is no significant correlation with user score as well.

There is correlation with number of views the game gets from TB - the more views, the more sales. But the coverage itself does not correlate

Interestingly in my own experience two years ago, TB coverage meant A LOT - we literally saw a huge spike on our sales chart.
