so my older brother has apparently been streaming.. . . how does upload speed work for example if i was to stream at the same time

streaming alone is absolutely fine, I don't know how two people streaming would affect it though? is it the same as how download speed works?

It's essentially the same thing, but except for receiving data, you are sending data. Multiple people uploading at the same time = less uploading bandwidth for each person
